We bought the mat before our family beach trip, and it turned out to be the best thing we could have packed! Every late afternoon turned into a lively putting and chipping contest, with everyone from kids to grandparents joining in. There were some intense competitions!

The roll is good, but the 1.5x8 ft mat has a thin backing that slides around and feels average in quality. For the price, there are better made options available from U.S. manufacturers.

For transparency, we use high-quality, non-toxic, fully cured styrene-butadiene latex (SBR latex) — the same durable material found in premium gym flooring. We intentionally designed it to be thinner but firmer, so it performs well on all floor types (hardwood, carpet, tile) without creasing or rippling. While it may look more “average” than softer backings, our focus was on ball-rolling performance and floor compatibility over appearance, since the backing isn’t visible once in use.
As for sliding, we’d love to know what type of flooring you used as we've never had customers with this issue and we want to refine our design.
