First off I want to say customer service was Amazing. The type of customer service you remember for a long time because it is something that is few and far between. Chiputt made me feel like I matter as a customer. If I could give 6 stars on this I would.
I picked this product Because it looked very similar and reviews were good and in line when compared to PP, and BB. This product falls in line with them. This product is bigger than the others. And in putting greens size matters. It is wide enough that the chip may provided (for free) isn’t really necessary. Compared to other manufacturers where it’s almost mandatory to be able to stand on it even surface with the putting mat. 5 stars on size!!
The backing resembles PP, but neither really show it on line. I only have hands on experience with Chiputt. However, people should know that the backing on Chiputt It is very hard. Can slide on slicker floors. Not carpet. The backing resembles carpet but is stiffer which was explained to me to help get a flatter lay on the product. Which I have to say does do its job well. After about 30 min from unboxing mat was very flat with a very straight roll. The metal cups are solid but can slide on harder surfaces. Although after reaching out to Chiputt they suggested putting the high back cup and placing the round on top to keep it in place. It works much better in this configuration. . I did made an impulse buy and I did order cups from a different brand manufacture. Before Jason ( with Chiputt reach out ). Which was very fast by the way. Over the last 2 days I have 100 putts in with the metal cups provided and the Plastic cups I ordered. I am not impressed with the plastic cups as I thought I would. They fit and look nice. However I didn’t really see any advantage outside of a flag you can pick up. The flags are low and you still bend over to pick it up. Please do not let people try to tell you the plastic cups sound like the REAL THING. it does not. I do believe with the right design a plastic cups could. With a ball rolling into it and not dropping into it the sound will be very hard to replicate. The BALL role on the mat seems very good and accurate to the courses I play in Oklahoma USA. I’m not a country club member so I play public courses. So for accurate practice, this is a great alternative to more expensive brands.
As far as getting real practicing for the course this product has a great grade. It lets me spend time with a 6 year old and 18 year old. It already has provided true practice and precious family time. I would suggest this product to anyone I know or anyone who asks over other mats.
Let’s face it in golf is kind of an elitist and you put golf in the name and the price goes up. This product gives you a great practice area in your house for a very reasonable price. It seems like it is very well made, and will stand in the test of time.

Great putting mat. Mine is the 3' X 11' mat. Very well made with a great chipping mat included for free. It is the full width of your putting mat which gives many possibilities like extending your mat with 2 1/2' or placing it behind the holes to check how far your putts goes. On top of this the customer service is great. I asked many questions before placing my order and I got great answers every time .
